Comic Relief ‘Love Wins’ T-Shirt Fundraiser

Written by Elise on April 20 2020

Comic Relief has joined the battle against the coronavirus crisis. They have teamed up with illustrator Charlie Mackesy to create a new t-shirt, sporting the slogan ‘love wins‘ as a symbol of hope, with all money raised going towards helping the most vulnerable. Carey Mulligan and her husband Marcus Mumford, alongside Dame Joan Collins and Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain are among the stars who joined forces with Comic Relief to promote the new t-shirt. If you can afford it, the t-shirt is for sale (£15) on the Comic Relief website (click here).

By purchasing this t-shirt, we can provide more support for people who find themselves in lockdown with an abuser, people with mental health problems, and the very poorest families who now face an even greater struggle to cover the cost of essentials.

The pandemic has reminded us that, wherever we are in the world, we’re all connected. And what matters most is caring for each other – keeping each other safe. This spirit of togetherness will get us through this crisis. That’s exactly what the charities we support are doing for the most vulnerable people in our society, day in, day out and we hope you’ll support them today, if you can.
